Hi I'm Ancella and I'm from Dumaguete, Philippines. I'm not a writer but I decided to start this blog so I can document my research, mishaps, discoveries and growth in the world of makeup.

Brown Sugar Beauty 22 is all about my quest in finding the most suitable products for women of the sun. My skin tone changes a lot all throughout the year which makes it a little more challenging to find the right cosmetic and personal care products. I don't use products with skin lightening or whitening factor since I think it will do more harm than good to my skin.

I'm a part-time mermaid who loves having fun under the sun. I write each entry with the active and outdoor-loving women in mind. Comfort, and quality are factors that I highly consider. With this blog, I hope to inspire Filipino women to embrace and appreciate their color.

I am highly opinionated and I don't like jumping into the bandwagon just for the heck of it. We all have different skin types and conditions; products that work for me, may not work for your. If you have sensitive skin or allergies, it's best to know the ingredients first to determine if a product is suitable for you or not. Remember, makeup should only make us feel a little bit more confident about ourselves, not cause more problems. ;)
